Yvon Gabriel, beloved husband, father, and brother, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born on April 26, 1960, in Cap-Haitien, Haiti, and most recently resided in Bainbridge, GA.
Yvon was a man of simple pleasures and had a zest for life. His favorite hobbies included playing Dominos and fishing, activities that brought him great joy and relaxation. He had a love for food, particularly Jasmine Rice with beans and chicken, as well as spaghetti and shrimp. Yvon's taste in music leaned towards Haitian Compa, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
Known for his love of people, Yvon had a giving heart and always shared with those around him. Dancing was one of his passions, and he could often be found grooving to the rhythm of his favorite tunes. Watching television was another favorite pastime, and Yvon found solace in his favorite TV shows, particularly Western movies like "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly."
Yvon cherished spending time at the beach, which he considered his favorite place in the world. He also had a special lady friend, Aretha Bailey, two good friends, Stan Evans and Selestre Novembre. He enjoyed participating in various sports.
Yvon leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Ericka Faison Gabriel, his children, Yolanda Gabriel, Guerline Charles, Yolanda Ann Collins, and Charoldric Williams, and his siblings, Marcelle Lima, Jordani Pluviose, Roselene Verty, and Roseline Zephirin, a brother in law, Frederick Faison, and a sister in law who preceded him in death, Latoya Faison. Those who knew Yvon will remember him as a loving and family-oriented individual, whose strength and kindness touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
