Willie Walker Obituary

Brother Willie Lee Walker was born February 17, 1967 to the late Mrs. Earnestine Myrick Johnson and Mr. Matthew Walker in Bainbridge, Georgia (Decatur County). Brother Walker affectionately known as "Timmy" was a member of Mount Zion AME Church until its closing. After the closing of Mount Zion, he  joined Saint Thomas MB Church where he served on the Senior Usher Board. He attended schools in the Decatur County School System. Brother Walker was employed with Dollar Peanut Farm for many years and worked for Lillian E. Williams Elementary School. Mr. Willie Lee Walker was joined in Holy Matrimony on March 26, 1994 to Miss Lillie Pearl Emanuel. Brother Walker was taken from his earthly life and family on August 30, 2021 and will truly be missed by family and those who knew him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Pearl E. Walker and his sister, Mrs. Betty Jean McClain. He leaves behind his memory, three sisters: Mrs. Alice Rogers, Ms. Jerry Dean Walker (Willie) and Mrs. Doris L. Hawkins (Richard Sr.); two brothers: Mr. Billy Lee Walker (Sharon), Mr. Michael Myrick (Jessica), one god brother: Mr. Alphonso Weaver and best friend: Mr. Steve Jefferson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
