Willie Good Obituary

Mother Willie Bell McClendon Good was born on April 3, 1929 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie McClendon in Seminole County, Georgia. She received her formal education in Seminole County. She joined Second Saint James Missionary Baptist Church under the late Reverend Timothy Wilson. Later, she moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she met and married Shelton Good. She was an avid seamstress and employee of Williamson-Dickie manufacturing company. After retiring, she enjoyed singing and became president of Saint James Choir over thirty years. Her children include Virginia Good Stubbs, Larry Good and the late Barbara Good. Her siblings include Joyce Young and the late Otho, Ezell Lindberg and Gus McClendon. Her grandchildren include Keeshan Coney, Derek Good and Anastasia Ward and Corey Stubbs. Her great-grandchildren include Alex Pate and Jordan Coney. Her great-great grandchild is Kingston Coney. Her nieces and nephews include Jacqueline Pruitt, Ezell McClendon, Tunja Sutton, Crystal Robinson, Joseph Young, Jr. and Korey Young. Her love has been also shared with her devoted friends and family members, Dorothy McNeal, Billy Jean Ward, Rosetta Hutley, Sonja Greenlee, Sammy Emanuel, Louise Bulger, Virgree Wesley, Patricia Rambo, The Roberts and her beloved Second Saint James Family. She loved all of her family, co-workers and friends.
