Tony Worlds, Sr

Tony Worlds, Sr. was a caring husband, father, son, brother and friend. He receivedhis departure notice and transitioned quietly on February 17, 2022 at age 46. He wasborn in Fowlstown, GA, on December 15, 1975, to his parents, Retha Worlds Stephensand the late Joe Bowers, Jr. He had a very close bond with his late Grandmother,Mrs. Lillie Bowers. He was affectionately called "TWorlds" by his friends. Tony attended Bainbridge High School and eventually left to complete his GEDeducation. He was employed by Do-Rite Construction, Inc. and worked diligently inthe construction industry for many years. Tony fell in love one day. On March 20,2004, he married Angela Bouie, and from that union two children were born. Heembraced a personal relationship with Christ and joined Greater Macedonia BaptistChurch. He was characterized as quite, sweet, funny, cheerful and a trash-talker who kepthis family laughing. He was a very responsible and hard working man. An evengreater trait is that he "loved himself some Ann"! He held a big "heart ofcompassion" for his mother and siblings. As her oldest son, he was honored to beable to give her money and gifts. He was truly a family man. He cherishedspending time with his siblings, children and grandchildren. He was a free-heartedperson who would give the shirt off of his back, if necessary. He was verypassionate about sports. Football was his favorite and he was a dedicated andproud fan of the "Florida Gators" team.Tony leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Angela Worlds, of Bainbridge, GA; Hismother, Retha Worlds Stephens and stepfather Raymond Stephens of Climax, GA.;Mother-in-law, Shelley Bouie of Bainbridge, GA; Three daughters: Tametriss Smart,Dereka Bouie and Tangela Worlds all of Bainbridge, GA; One son, Tony Worlds, Jr.(Brittney Madge) and one whom he raised like a son, Caden Jackson, both ofBainbridge, GA.; Eight sisters: Patricia Bowers Goolsby of Duluth, GA, Lillie BowersCopeland (Norris) of Donalsonville, GA, Lisa Worlds, Demedris Williams, JaniceThornton (Nate), Kimberly Gordon (Randy), Christina Johnson all of Bainbridge, GAand Latasha Marshall (Steven) of Valdosta, GA, One preceded him in death, VeronicaJohnson; Five brothers: Johnny Bowers of Donalsonville, GA, James Holmes ofAtlanta, GA, Joe Worlds (Shamyra), Elex Worlds (Jacquelyn) both of Bainbridge, GAand Terry Williams of Arlington, GA; Six sister in laws & seven brother in laws; Fourgrandkids: Jemariyah, Aspen, Tony III, and Karsyn. He was preceded in death by hisfather and grandparents. He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, relatives andfriends. Robert Scott, Willie Jaye, Calvin Butler, Jr. and Breeze Hayes were likebrothers to Tony.
