Timothy Bernard McGregor Sr., was born to Louise McGregor and Jimmy Mackey, Sr. on December 1, 1968. He was affectionately known as Tim or Big Mac by all of those who knew him. On the morning of Wednesday, April 1, 2020 he gained his heavenly wings peacefully at his home. Tim attended Bainbridge High School in Bainbridge, Georgia. After graduation he joined the U.S. Army where he served diligently from July 7, 1986 until his honorable discharge on February 6, 1998. While in the service he achieved the rank of E5 as a cannon crew member. His achievements include: Army Achievement Medals and several ribbons. He has since worked as a security specialist for a company currently called DBA G4S secure solutions. At an early age he accepted Christ as his personal savior and joined Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving mother, Louise McGregor and father Jimmy Mackey, Sr. of Bainbridge, Georgia; four loving children, Timothy Jr., Taniqua, Kendra and Terrell all of Atlanta, Georgia; two sisters, Tina Smith (Marvin) and Tishambe McGregor both of Bainbridge, Georgia; two half brothers, Maurice Gaines (Loretta) and Jimmy Mackey, Jr. both of Bainbridge, Georgia; four half sisters, Sabrina Mackey of Miami, Florida; Tinease Mackey, Dionne Mackey and Jennifer Mackey all of Atlanta, Georgia; four loving grandchildren, Timayah, Timothy III, Kemari and Janovah all of Atlanta, Georgia; a dedicated and loving grandmother, Vera McGregor of Bainbridge, Georgia; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. A very special cousin known as a brother, Jimmie “Bo” Shelmon of Atlanta, Georgia. A friend whom he considered as a brother, Efrem Willingham of Bainbridge, Georgia.
