A Time To Be Born: Timothy L. Green was born on May 10, 1969 to Annie Dawson and Horatio Nelson in Hartford, Connecticut at St. Francis Catholic Hospital. He was raised in Bainbridge, Georgia.


A Time To Plant: He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and later moved his membership to Berean Christian Church in Snellville, Georgia.


A Time To Be Educated: He was educated in the Decatur County Public School System graduating from Bainbridge High School in the Class of 1988. He Received his B.S in Political Science with a Minor in Education from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.


A Time To Provide: He worked as an educator in Atlanta Public Schools and had a passion for landscaping and lawn care. He was the owner of Big T Lawns.


A Time To Be United: He was married to Melanie H. Green.


A Time To Rest: Timothy L. Green, 51, of Lawrenceville, Georgia passed away Thursday October 29, 2020. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Allie Mae Dawson and his uncles, William P. Mosley, Fulton “Fuzz” Bailey, John “Bo” Dawson and father-in-law, Billy W. Hyman. 

 


A Time To Mourn: He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife: Melanie H. Green of Lawrenceville, Georgia; two children, son: Lucious Rogers and daughter: Mercedes Rogers; two grandchildren: Isaac Owens and Jasiah Rogers all of Lawrenceville, Georgia who he fathered many years and adored being the world greatest G-Pa; his mother: Annie L. Dawson of Bainbridge, Georgia; four sisters: Debra Dawson, Gladys Brown (Thomas), Mary Harris, and Cassandra Dawson all of Bainbridge, Georgia; two uncles: Henry Dawson of Greensboro, NC and Jimmy Dawson (Maria) of Winter Park, FL; three aunts: Rosa Gurley (Nate) of Tampa, FL; Anna L. Mosley and Myra Evans (Al) both of Attapulgus, GA; godbrothers: Kwame Kilpatrick, Keith Bryant (Enika), Thomas Dow, Nelson Jones, and Rudolph Jackson; three nieces: Zaikia Peeples (Tramell), Jasmine Tate, and Lyatrecia Harris; two nephews: Kwame Dawson and Jelani Kilpatrick; four great nieces: Kensley Ross, Harmony Dawson, Paisley Peeples, and Bailey Peeples; one great nephew: Jontavius Smith; one godson: Omari Johnson; special friends: Gary Manuel and Jesus Carrillo; mother-in-law: Mamie Hyman, brother-in-law: Billy C. Hyman (Renee), two sisters-in-law: Kimberly Kee (Jesse) of Hartford, Connecticut and China Hyman (Curtis) of New Britain, CT. Along with a host of cousins and other friends who were blessed to know him.
