SPC Justin Clifford “Fussy” Harris was born on April 7, 1992 in Bainbridge, Georgia. He was the son of Tonya “Candi” Harris and Eric Sanders, Sr. He was preceded in death by his brother, Brian “Six” Sanders and his grandparents, JC and Helen Sanders. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Public Schools in Bainbridge, Georgia and graduated from Bainbridge High School. Fussy was a very competitive Bearcat, he played football and basketball. In 2009, he was voted the first Bainbridge High School King. He received a scholarship from Albany State University for football and after one year, he decided to join the United States Army. He served this country for five years. He was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri, Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Germany and in a designated imminent danger area in Afghanistan. During those five years, he received an Army Commendation Medal, two Army Achievement Award, the Army Good Conduct Medal, The National Defense Service Medal, The Global War Ribbon, The NATO Medal on Terrorism Service Medal, The Army Service Ribbon, The NATO Medal, The Sharp Shooter Marksmanship Badge with Rifle Bar, Driver and Mechanic Badge. He leaves to cherish his memories, two children: Justin, Jr. (2J) and Jaycee; a devoted mother: Tonya (Candi) Harris (Kent) (Bainbridge, Georgia); a devoted father: Eric Sanders, Sr. (Keturah) (Leesburg, Georgia); six sisters: Bria (Bainbridge,Georgia); Kyrsten (Tallahassee, Florida); Khyla, Kiersten, Kennedy, and Kyndall (Leesburg, Georgia); one brother: Eric, Jr. (Leesburg, Georgia); a devoted grandmother: Dr. Marilyn K. Melton (Bainbridge, Georgia); grandfather: Rochell Harris, Sr.; five nephews: Korbin, Brian, Jr., Jamarion, Jaceon, and Kyle (Bainbridge, Georgia); one niece: Mariah; seven aunts: Catrina, Catina, Deidra (Christopher), Darlene (Bainbridge, Georgia); Vivian, Verdell and Sharlene (Atlanta, Georgia); two uncles: Rochell Harris and Jacoby Jones (Shabreka); devoted cousins: Ryan, Tjay, Trey, Mycha, Cam, Jamaria, Jamario, Caden, Apple, Duece, Belle, Dylan, Myra and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
