Rosetta Denise Rogers was born in Decatur County to Ms. Dora Lee Rogers and the late Mr. Solomon “Mohawk” Moore on July 6, 1973. She confessed Christ at an early age at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was educated in the Decatur County School System graduating from Bainbridge High School. She continued her education and became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Rosetta met and married Javann Thomas and they shared a seventeen year old son. Rosetta affectionately known as Ro was a very loving, kind-hearted and caring person who met no strangers. Ro took in and fed anyone who needed a warm place along with a hot meal. She was truly loved and loved dearly all people she came to know. Rosetta entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the age of 47. She was preceded in death by her father, Solomon Moore and her sister, Cormechy Jones. She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted husband, Javann Thomas; six children, Dexter Davis (Terri Anne), Jerrick Kirksey, Jr., Jeremy Kirksey (Jessica), Jasmine Moore, Courtney Moore and Raheem Rogers; a loving mother, Dora Lee Rogers; two sisters, Shivella Shilo (Michael); Phalisha Jones; one brother, Randy Jones (Patricia); two special cousins, Armond Miller and Tony Shouman; fifteen grandchildren and a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
