Rachel was born 11/27/1929 in Colquitt, Ga to the late Mr. Dubert and Josephine Price.
Rachel confessed her love for Christ at an early age. She became a member of White Pond FWB church. She was Mother of Church and secretary/Treasure until her health started to fail. Mrs. Rachel was also Treasure for Mt. Hosea Star Bethel Ga and Alabama freewill baptist churches(women convention).
Mrs. Rachel was united in the Holy Matrimony to Elmo Carter who preceded her in death. To this union no children were born.
Rachel was the ninth child of 11 siblings. 3 who died as infants. Plus 3 brothers Fred Price, Roosevelt Price, and Tommy Price. 4 sisters Catherine Horne, Mary L Byrd, Minnie P. Byrd and Geneva Huntley. All of whom preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory a host of Nieces, Nephews, cousins and friends.
