Pearl (Pierce) McGill

Pearl McGill was born January 16, 1952 to the late Hazel Ann Anderson and the late George Pierce, Sr. she received her education in Decatur County at Mt. Moriah School in Attapulgus, Georgia.

Pearl accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Smith Grove Baptist Church in Amsterdam, Georgia. For many years she was employed at Bayliner Boats in Tallahassee, Florida. She was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend.

Pearl entered eternal rest Wednesday, June 28, 2023 in Thomasville, Georgia at Archbold Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Ann Anderson, her father, George Pierce, Sr., and her stepfather, Robert Lee Anderson. She leaves to cherish her memories two sisters, Erma Jean Wiliford and Janey Pierce, two brothers, George Pierce, Jr. and George Montgomery. Five nieces: Litheria McMillion(Trae), Sheronda Esland(Charles), Angela Pierce, Catherine Esland, NeKayla Fedd. Five nephews: Eric Cooper(Markethia), Vontez Cooper, Glenn Esland, Jr., Joshua Pierce, and Maison Fedd. a special friend, Dorothy Flanagan, and one godson, Kevin McDuffie, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
