A TIME TO BE BORN: Patricia “Pat” Thomas was born on November 27, 1953 in Leary, Georgia to the late Willie Frank Williams and Mary Thomas Clinton.
A TIME TO PLANT: At an early age she joined Springfield Missionary Baptist Church and later she became a member of Saint Thomas Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until her health failed.
A TIME TO BE EDUCATED: She was educated in the Montgomery Alabama School System. She also attended Bainbridge College where she received her GED.
A TIME TO PROVIDE: Pat worked at Amoco Fibers for twenty years. After the doors closed she didn’t stop providing. She then became employed with Florida State Hospital for four years. She was also employed at Zip-Trip for one year. Her most loved job was babysitting, which she did until her health failed.
A TIME TO BE UNITED: She was married to the late Leroy Miller, Sr. Later in life, she met and married Willie C. Scott, Jr.
A TIME TO BE AT REST: Pat departed this life on Sunday, May 10, 2020. She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Frank Williams, her mother, Mary T. Clinton, her brothers, Oharra Thomas, Roger Clinton, Gregory Williams and her son, Demarco Scott.
A TIME TO MOURN: Patricia “Pat” Thomas leaves to cherish her memories, ten children, Lawanda Thomas (Zollie) of Albany, Georgia; Anthony Stephens (Lashanda), Sonya Sheffield (Richard), Leroy Miller, Jr. (Sabrina), Valerie D. Miller and Alexander D. Miller all of Bainbridge, Georgia; Jason Miller (Shareeka) of San Diego, California; Willie C. Scott III of Atlanta, Georgia; Bradley Scott and Byron Scott both of Bainbridge, Georgia; three sisters, Wanda Thomas (William) and Barbara Ann Thomas both of Albany, Georgia; Irlene Jones of Leary, Georgia; four brothers, Darren Williams (Keyesa) and Willie Williams (Natalie) both of Atlanta, Georgia; Leonard Williams (Gloria) of Albany, Georgia; Bobby White of Jacksonville, Florida and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and sorrowing friends.
