Our lovely Mildred Perkins was born on May 22, 1945 to the late Mr. Grover and Ruby Mae Perkins in Colquitt, Georgia. She attended Bethel Elementary in Colquitt, Georgia. At an early age she joined Saint Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Calvary, Georgia. She later moved her membership to Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. Mildred served as a Senior Choir member until her rebirth. Our loving mother was a loving spirit to all who met her. Mildred was revived from this life on January 29, 2021 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters. To cherish the many memories she sowed while on this earthly journey. She leaves six children: Albert Perkins of Bainbridge, Georgia; Margaret Perkins (Terry) of Orlando, Florida; Willie Perkins, Leslie Smith, Tina Smith, and Linda Hampton all of Bainbridge, Georgia; one sister: Clora Mae Perkins of Cairo, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
