Merlin(Melvin) Jerome Scott

Melvin Jerome Scott was born in Bainbridge, Ga to the late Mr. Willie C. Scott, Sr and Mrs Drucilla Emanuel Scott Johnson on May 5, 1960 he departed this life on December 15, 2023

 Melvin Jerome Scott was an affectionate and loving husband, Father, Grandfather, and Brother. He was truly loved by his family and Friends.

 He was educated in the Decatur County School System of Bainbridge, Ga. Melvin accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age, and continued to love, serve and be a Blessing to everyone.

 He worked numerous years at Bainbridge State Hospital until he moved to Flint, Michigan Where he continued to work until he retired. He enjoyed fishing and traveling with his family. In his presence, there was never a dull moment. He would make a joke out of anything. to him, no one was a stranger.

 Melvin is preceded in death by his parents, a Sister, Ms. Mary Alice Lewis and two brothers: Mr. Eddie James Lewis,Sr and Mr. Randolph Scott, Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Pamela Scott (wife) of Pelham,Ga, four daughters: Melshunda Scott Iglus(Willie) of Pelham. Ga, Regina Scott Moore(Jeremy) of Camilla Ga, Chelsea Scott of Camilla, Ga Wimbrelle Scott of Macon, Ga, a brother, Mr. Willie C. Scott Jr.of Bainbridge,Ga four Sisters: Reather Scott of Jacksonville, Fl, Leather Lincoln (Will) of Tallahassee, Fl, Margaret Scott-Thompson(Megal) of Bainbridge, Ga, Pamela Gordon(Damon) of Bainbridge, Ga, and 14 grandchildren: William Iglus, Ja’Lynn Moore, Jada Moore, Torrell Scott, Mana Moore, Jordyn Moore, Arianna Moore, Jocelyn Moore, Jeremy Moore, Jr. Zarquavion Scott, Ja’Brenton Scott, Kaiden Scott, Isaiah Williams, and Knoble knight, a devoted cousin, Collins James Edwards and a host Of nieces, nephews, cousins and Friends he loved Very dearly.
