A TIME TO BE BORN: Mattie Louise Jackson was born on July 4, 1953 to the late Thelma Jackson and Calvin Jackson, Sr.
A TIME FOR PLANT: Mattie received her education from the Seminole County School System and was a member of the Class of 1971. She accepted Christ as her Savior and joined Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.
A TIME TO LOVE: Mattie leaves a very loving and devoted friend, Jimmy Teague
A TIME TO LIVE: Mattie was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
A TIME TO DIE: On Tuesday, June 18, 2019 Mattie was called home to rest. She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Latonya Jackson (Demetris LaRue) of Dothan, Alabama; one son, Vashon Jackson, Sr. (Twalla) of Donalsonville, Georgia; six grandchildren, Vonte Bullard, Kendrick Davis, Cintrella Jackson, Vashon Jackson, Jr., Zakiyya Bullard and Cintorra Jackson; one brother, Calvin Jackson, Jr. (Cynthia); one sister, Rebecca Williams, two aunts, Peggy Sanders of Donalsonville, Georgia; and Louise Crawford of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Jackson and one sister, Carolyn Jackson.
