Mary Helen Thompson was born on September 12, 1946 to the late Rev. Daniel and Nolie Bouie in Bainbridge, GA.
Mary transitioned from this earth to glory on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.
At an early age, Mary moved to New York and remained there for 25 years.
Mary confessed and accepted Christ at an early age and joined Greater Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend R.W. Burgess. She served as a devoted and faithful member until her health declined.
Mary attended public school in Decatur County, graduating from Hutto High School in the Class of 1962. Mary worked at Charter House, Elberta Crate and as a custodian at Centre Point Health and Rehab in Tallahassee, FL before retiring.
Mary met and married the love of her life, Norris Thompson who preceded her in death. They remained married for 55 years.
Mary leaves her cherished memory to her four children: Mary Thompson, Morris Thompson (Pamela), Ronnie Thompson (Ann), and Theresa (William) all of Bainbridge, GA. A devoted nephew Johnnie Lee Bouie. Her pride and joy her great-grand daughter Kentoria Jones and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
