On July 18,1952, Larry Reels was born to Wesley and Ida Mae Reels of Bainbridge Georgia.
Bubba was a lifelong native of Bainbridge and attended Hutto High School. After high school, he was employed with Barber Furniture Company until his health wouldn’t allow him to work.
Larry better known as “Bubba” was very crafty. He was the joking uncle. He loved telling jokes and making his family laugh. He loved children especially his nieces and nephews. He loved Mt. Dews and honey buns. If you were one of those special nieces or nephews you have snuck him some of his favorite snacks a time or two.
He leaves to cherish his daughter, Tammy Jackson(John) of Carteret, NJ; Three sister Katie Burke(Lester) who was also his caretaker, Ruth Reels of Havelock, NC and Gladys Solomon(Alvin) of Boynton Beach, FL; Two brothers Quentin Martin of AL, Benjamin Reels(Brenda) of Philadelphia,PA; Two granddaughters Si’nayah and Ja-Shanyah; One grandson Jemar all of Carteret, NJ; A special Great Niece and joking partner Ciera Walton; A host of nieces and nephews, Great nieces and nephews and family and friends who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ida and Wesley Reels, His son Larry Reels, Three brothers John Reels, Freddie Lee Reels and Author Lee Reels; One sister Catherine Mims; A brother in Law Lester F. Burke.
