Katrinia Defanne Thomas Douglas, 58, departed her Earthly home on August 5, 2022. She was
born November 21, 1963, in Bainbridge, GA to the late Roger Lee and Marie Brown Thomas.
She left to cherish her memories two sons, Parshandatha Zerest (Tiffany) Davis, Jr., 35, of West
Columbia, SC and Calvin JhaPri (Miracle) Douglas, 30, of McDonough, GA.
Katrinia is survived by L. C. Douglas, Jr., whom she married on June 16, 1989 and her parents-
in-law L. C. (Emma) Douglas, Sr., all of Climax, GA. Also surviving are two brothers, Henry C.
(Hazel) Hayes of Hahira, GA, and Toney P. Thomas of Bainbridge; seven sisters, Melinda J.
Henderson, Rosemary B. (David) Jackson, Jewell L. Thomas Parrish, Arlicia S. Thomas
Kirkland, Angelia S. Thomas, all of Bainbridge, and Geraldine Gordon and Joyce Holcombe,
both of Mobile, AL, and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren, family and
friends.
Her grandparents Sheddrick (Annie) Thomas and Robert (Beatrice) Brown preceded her in
death.
Katrinia attended Bainbridge High School and was a faithful member of Greater Mt. Calvary
First Born Church. Anyone who knew Katrinia immediately witnessed her love and dedication
for the Lord.
In her free time, she found peace in making jewelry and all things arts & crafts. She was not a
stranger to a homemade recipe because she got down in the kitchen. She loved music, painting,
singing, teaching and giving God praise, and most importantly, she loved her two young men,
and everyone knew it. She would give her last to anyone and would say a prayer for everyone.
One of her favorite sayings, “You have not because you ask not” will be something we can all
remember her by. Even in times like these, we must ask for comfort, peace and understanding,
and if we know like Katrinia knows, God will give us just that. We must keep her memory alive
because she would not have it any other way.
