Joseph Alphonso Burke, affectionately known to family and close friends as "Bae Bae or Bay Boy" was born on December 29, 1945, in Bainbridge, GA. Joseph and Lula parted ways some years later and he was later united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Vire Perkins-Burke, who preceded him in death. There were no children born to their union. As A Sister/Reflections
My big brother Joseph, we affectionately call him "Bae Bae", was a loving brother to me. He was always there for me, especially when it came to assisting me with my math homework. Instead of showing me how to do the math, he would go ahead and complete it himself, which I still appreciated either way as that's what big brothers do. During my middle school years, my older brother Charles and his close friend, relocated my mother, myself and brother Jerry to South Florida. Even though distance may have separated us for many years, Bae Bae and I would frequently keep in touch through phone calls and Face Time. I am proud to say that Bae Bae did accept Christ into his life about 2 years ago and he is in a good place with the Lord our God, resting in peace. He will truly be missed.
