A Time To Be Born
Pastor John Dee Peterson, son of Doris Moore and the late Sammy Peterson, was born May 2, 1961, in
Apalachicola, Florida.
A Time To Worship
At an early age, Pastor Peterson accepted Christ. After serving for several years, Pastor Peterson
accepted there was a greater call on his life. In 2002, he founded Vision Faith Outreach Ministries where
he faithfully served as Pastor alongside his wife, Brenda Peterson.
Love Moves On
During his faithful stewardship he ministered across the United States spreading the gospel and sharing
his testimony. He especially enjoyed ministering to individuals within the local nursing home and jail
facilities.
A Time To Die
Pastor John Peterson answered the call of our Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at
Southeast Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his father, Sammy
Peterson.
A Time To Say Goodbye
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife of 41 years, Brenda Peterson, a mother,
Doris Moore, one (1) loyal son, Jamiel Peterson (Danielle) of Kansas City, Missouri, three (3) faithful
daughters, Tykeia Peterson of Donalsonville, Georgia, Shayonne Peterson of Phenix City, Alabama, and
Tiffany Peterson of Donalsonville, Georgia. Two (2) brothers, Sammy Peterson, Jr (Judy) of Marianna,
Florida, Robert Moore (Kimberly) of Cordele, Georgia. Three (3) sisters, Elnora Borders of Blountstown,
Florida, Dorothy Sarpong (Joseph) of Bainbridge, Georgia, Anna Peterson of Donalsonville, Georgia. Two
(2) lovely grandchildren, Preston and Parkyr Beard. He leaves several spiritual sons and daughters of
whom he loved and cherished as his own.
