Jocelyn Alana Campbell, an amazing mother, sister, teacher, and friend departed this life on Friday, January 29, 2021 in Valdosta, Georgia at the young age of 35. From her early years to adulthood she would easily read several books a week. Teaching and reading was more than a hobby. It was a gift and her favorite pastime. Jocelyn was able to bring this excitement to the classroom allowing her students to not only fall in love with curriculum but her. She was often recognized outside of the classroom and received with excitement. It is no surprise that Jocelyn gained the love of her students and colleagues alike. Though being a teacher was her passion, being a mother was her calling. Jocelyn was an excellent mother to her daughter Mackenzie, in which she loved with all of heart. She mastered being an advocate, friend, and mom. There was absolutely nothing that Jocelyn would not do for MacKenzie. She is preceded in death by her father, Mack Campbell Jr. and mother, Shirley Campbell.
