Christian Experience
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. G. Pinkney.
James attended Decatur County Schools and graduated the class of 1979, After that he enrolled with the US army in 1980, where she served for 4 years.
James also affectionately know as knocker was a loving, humorous and humble man. He was always a caring person and willing to give anything he had.
He leaves to Cherish his memories; His son James Bernard McNair II, of Thomasville, Ga; His grandchildren Pauyea McNair, of Tallahassee Fla; His mother, Mrs. Carrie B Spencer and Stepfather, Rev Homer Spencer, One brother, Robert Smith Jr, of Attapulgus, Ga; Two Sisters Angelia Donalaon(Larry) of Climax Ga and Sharlyn (Lisa) Smith of Attapulgus Ga; Two step sisters Mary Hunt(Charles) of Austin, Tx and Francella Wilkerson of Arlington Tx; Four Stepbrothers; Homer Spencer Jr of Orangeburg Sc, Wilbert Spencer(Deneathia), Earnest Spencer of Lake Placid, Fla, and Tony Spencer of Ft. Myers, Fla; A special cousin Gail McNair of Cairo, Ga; A uncle Larry Arnold.; Two Aunts Mary Arnold and Mary Louise McNair and a God Daughter Ronnica Bowens.
