James Roger Byrd was born June 5, 1974 to the late Retha Bell Parks and Bishop Byrd. He attended Bainbridge High School. He Married the love of his life Becky A Byrd on January 21,2009. 
He leaves to cherish his memory is wife Becky Byrd of 12 years and 23 years together; Five children, Mareko Jerome Samuel (Desiree), Annalicity Nicole Byrd, Dahlamien James Roger Byrd, Douglas Kincade Stevens, Nayellie Elisa Byrd; A grandson Antarius Jayshaun Johnson, Five siblings, Barbara Ann Jackson(Andre'), Bishop Byrd, Roy Byrd, Tony Lamar Byrd(Patricia), Alfred Byrd; Two step brothers, Forest Adams Jr, Markeitta Russ
