Our beloved brother, Greg, was born on January 28, 1960, in Bainbridge, Georgia to Rufus Calvin Baldwin and Eula Mae (Lurry) Baldwin.
Greg confessed Christ at an early age at the Lamar Street Church of Christ in Bainbridge, Ga. As a young boy, he help with the construction of this building along with his father, brothers and others.
He was educated in the Decatur County Public School System graduating from Bainbridge High School. Greg attended the Bainbridge College. He was a very skilled electronic engineer receiving his FCC License while in high school. He was very smart and highly intelligent, winning local, state and national medals in Electronic competitions. He worked with his father at Baldwin's Electronics and later became self- employed.
Greg loved people. He could make a friend from any where at any time. He had the gift for "gab" always entertaining his audience with stories and experiences he had encountered over his lifetime. One thing he did was harbored a love for traveling and doing things his own way, in his own time. His family understood his need for exploration and travelling, but would always come to our aid whenever called upon.
We will miss his laughter and sense of humor. He always kept us laughing.
Greg suffered a heart attack and departed this phase of his life on Thursday, December, 22, 2022 at home.
Greg was preceded in death by his grandmother Evelina Stevens, his mother, Eula Mae Baldwin, his brother, Jerome K. Baldwin, and his father, Rufus C. Baldwin.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his bestie and beloved mate Deborah; his son, Gregory Baldwin, Jr, his sisters, Ann Dickerson (Marvin), Carolyn Brown (Sam), Gail A. Johnson, Trynni A.
