Gracie Mae Rambo was born October 15, 1926 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Polly Thompson Bryant and Eugene Bryant, Sr.
Gracie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Holy Neck M.B. Church where she served as a Deaconess until her health declined. Gracie departed her life on Tuesday, March 15 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ed Rambo, Daughters: Betty Mitchell and Almetta Rambo; sisters: Versie Hention, Ilene Parks, and Letha Bryant. Brothers: Willie C. Bryant, Moses Bryant, Sr, Johnny C. Bryan, C.J. Bryant, Eugene Bryant, Jr., and Cornelius Bryant. Two great grandchildren: Dervan Rambo and Jermond “Money” Hadnot. Two son inlaws: H.A. Washington and Fred Mitchell.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sons: John Rambo, Jr.(Barbara), Danny Rambo(Phyllis), and Edward Rambo. Her daughters: Doris Washington, Charlotte Rambo, and Annie G. Godwin, son in law, James Godwin, Jr., Grandchildren she raised as her own: Henry Rambo(Amanda), Fay Rambo, Aretha Brown, Chris Brown(Erica), Charles Haire, Alvin Groomes(Markesha), Demetrick Rambo, Renisha Rambo, Candace Rambo, Constance Patterson(Michael), Sierra Patterson, Ashley Patterson(Peter), Byron Johnson(Krineeja), James Godwin III, and Kiko Rambo. Brothers: Charles Bryant and Robert Bryant, Sisters: Semmie Freeman, Pallie Cleveland, Juanita Bryant, Rita Bryant, and Anita Bryant. 35 grandchildren, 94 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, the Bridges Family, sister in laws, Betty Joe Bryant and Mary Hines, and other relatives and sorrowing friends.
