Ferris “JT” Jackson entered this earthly tabernacle on May 21, 1930 to the late General and Essie B. Care Jackson in Colquitt, Georgia. On July 26, 2020 he answered the heavenly call. Ferris was educated in the Miller County School System. He worked at Amoco Fabrics and Fiber Company until he retired. He attended Pleasant Hill Freewill Baptist Church and accepted Christ at a very early age. He was a loving and caring person full of laughter that loved his family and fishing. He was married to the late Betty Jean Jackson and to this union five children were born. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ferry and Terry Jackson, one daughter, Francis Williams, one brother, Charlie Jackson and one sister, Virginia McMillian. Ferris leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, three sons: Thaddeus Barber (Liz), Stanley Jackson (Raven) and Timothy Jackson (Debra); two granddaughters: LaKeidra Thomas and Trinidy Jackson; two great-granddaughters: Keiandria and Kyria Coats; one great-grandson: Brando Williams; one son-in-law: Gene Williams; two sisters-in-law: Gloria Manuel (Joe) and Mary Jordan; two brothers-in-law: Robert White and Johnny Arline (Yvonne) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
