Evelyn Elaine (Jenkins) Bullock

Evelyn Elaine Jenkins Bullock was born on November 8,1945 to the late Tom and Catherine Andrews Jenkins. She attended school in Decatur County and graduated from Mount Moriah High School. She joined Second Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church at an early age under the pastoral Leadership of Reverend Winfield. 

She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Barry Bullock on January 8,1993.

Evelyn was a member of the senior mission ministry under the leadership of Cassandra Bouie and Dorothy Thomas. She was employed at ITT Electrical for many years. 

On April 6,2022 God called her home to rest. In addition to her parents. She was preceded in death by her husband Barry Bullock; Her brothers; Eddie Joe Jenkins, John Henry Jenkins and Tommy Lee Jenkins; Her sisters; Mildred Jenkins Edwards, Jacqueline Jenkins  and Gwendolyn Jenkins Robinson and Ella Jenkins Frazier.

She leaves to her memory One daughter Phyllis Jenkins, Three sons; Derrick Jenkins(Cynthia), Michael Jenkins Sr and Anthony Jenkins(Latasha). Eleven grandchildren; Darrion Jenkins, George Tomlin Jr, Derrick Jenkins Jr, Lanorris Jenkins, Bernard Jenkins, Michael Jenkins Jr, Montez Jenkins, Quanesha Hall, Teairra Baker, Destiny Jenkins and Lamiraca Jenkins, Fourteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. She had a close cousin Erma Thomas, when you saw one, you saw the other one. They were like Thelma and Louise. She also had a dedicated friend and neighbor Jackie Burke.
