Dr. Brian Devonn Lewis was born April 7, 1987 in Bainbridge, GA. He was the son of the late
Kimberly Nicolle Lewis and Bobby Gaines of Bainbridge.
Brian received his primary and secondary education from the Decatur County public school
system. He graduated from Bainbridge High School with the class of 2006. Brian completed
Basic Law Enforcement Training at the GPST (Georgia Public Safety Training Center) in
Tifton, Ga in December 2012 graduating class # 258.
Brian had the honor of serving and protecting in law enforcement for the following
departments: Bainbridge State College, Decatur County SO, Donaldsonville Police,
Albany State University Police Department, Lee County SO, Ashburn Police Department,
Cordele Police Department, and Lt. at Forest Park Police Department.
He wed Mrs. Linderia Felton-Lewis on July 24, 2019. From this union came two beautiful
daughters Emilee Lewis (deceased) and Aubri Ny'Kole Lewis.
God called his beloved son home on Thursday November 28, 2024. He was preceded in death
by his mother Kimberly Nicolle Lewis-Aldridge; daughter Emilee Lewis; grandparents
J.C.McKelven, Tommy Gaines, Sr, and Emma Gaines; great grandmother Sarah P. Haire;
uncles and aunts Joseph Sellars, Jr, John McKelven, Charles Gordon, Frank Gordon, Willie
West, Dwight Haire, Stacey Sellars, Tracey Sellars, Sandra Gordon and Beverly Roberts.
The legacy of Brian is left to his loving wife Linderia Felton-Lewis; daughter Aubri Lewis;
father Bobby Gaines; sisters and brother, Adrianne Lewis-Riles (Dewayne); Chastity Lewis,
Ebony Lewis, Marquil Jones (Chantel); grandmother Louticia McKelven; god daughter Alevia
Ward Flanders; nieces and nephews Hannah Lewis; Aiden Riles and Alayah Riles. Aunts
Naise Gordon; Grace Cooper and Margaret Gaines(Tory); uncles Robert Gaines and Ronnie
Gaines (Liz). In-laws Willie James Felton and Linda Felton; Ricky Bivens Jr( Lequana) and
Jeffery Felton. His spiritual father Bishop Marc L. House; and a host of beloved relatives and
friends. The family understands that the All Mighty God, who makes no mistakes, merely
loaned him to us for these 37 years. Now he is in God's hands. No more sickness, no more pain
and no more sleepless nights. Brian was loved and respected by many and well known for his
wit and humor. One thing you would always leave his presence with is a good laugh.
