Deacon Raymond Bell was born April 10th 1950 in Sanford Florida to Herbert bell and
the Late Dorothy Bell. Brother Raymond Bell attended Hutto High school in Bainbridge,
Georgia.
He confessed Christ at Mt. Nebo Church of Bainbridge Georgia. He later joined St.
Thomas Missionary Baptist Church of Fowlstown, Ga. Where he was a devoted church
member and served as a Deacon for a number of years.
Brother Bell was united in Holy Matrimony on October 19th, 1974, to the Late
Deaconess Carolyn Bell. He was employed with Georgia Industry for the Blind for over
30 years until his retirement.
Deacon Bell departed this walk on life on September 18 th , 2024. He was a devoted and
loving husband, a wonderful father, brother, uncle, and Deacon to the Saint Thomas
Church Family and a friend to many. Besides that, he was a Christian man that strived
daily to walk upright and serve the Lord.
He proceeds in death by his mother Dorothy Bell, his wife Carolyn Bell and his brother
Herbert Bell Jr.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory his three loving children Subrina Florence
(Anthony), Sherry Bell-Parker (Alvin), and Kimberly Bell. Grandchildren; Alvin Parker III,
Ava-Camille Parker, Anthony Florence Jr., Jordan Florence, Terria Ford, and Caden
“CJ” Florence. Son-In-Laws Alvin Parker Jr. and Anthony Florence. His father Herbert
Bell, His brothers Sammy Bell (Betty), Richard Bell and his sister Josephine Bell
Witherspoon and Margaret Bell. And three special children Donald Murphy (Liz),
Lakeisha Donald, and Abria Harris. In addition to his immediate family, he leaves a host
of nieces, nephews and friends to cherish his memory.
