Clarence Edward Tatum, Sr. was born in Ellaville, Ga on February 14, 1950 to Hubert Tatum Sr. and Rosie Mae Worlds Tatum, who both preceeded him in death.
He was also preceeded in death by 9 brothers, 2 sisters, and Son(in-law), Nickolas Cooper.
He was joined in Holy matrimony to his wife and caregiver Shirley (Sapp) Tatum for 52 devoted years.
Throughout his life, he was a voice of reason for many who he came in contact with and offered assistance to anyone in need. Some of his favorite past times were his ability to fix Anything (not like it was) and including himself in everybody's pictures. He was affectionately known to his loved ones as Lawdy, Daddy, Tate, Unk, Pee Paw, Pa Pa, Pop, and Grandpa. Each one truly have their own fond memories of how he made a huge
impact on their lives. Hls mentality was "treat everybody right, and the ones you can't, leave them alone."
He leaves to cherish his loving memories: 4 children; Alisa (Eddie) Lewis, Keith Tatum, Clarence Tatum Jr (LaPortia Scott), and Makesha Tatum-Cooper. His grandkids who were dear to his heart; Kiah Ballard, Tametra Ballard, Nadarious Tatum, Ebony Tatum, Makayla Cooper, Tiarah Cooper, Janiyah Scott, Londyn Tatum and great
granddaughter Anani Tatum, three loving sisters, Bessie T. Alexander, lomy Jones, and Inez Dixon; 4 Sister-in-laws and 3 brother-in- laws and a extremely large host of loving/ favorite nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
