Chistaunda Delorise (Bryant) Smith

Mrs. Chistaunda Delorise Bryant Smith was born on November 4, 1957 in Fort Myers, Florida to the late Willie and Maxine Bryant. She attended schools in Decatur County. She confessed to Christ at an early age, she joined Bethel Church, she later moved to St. Paul o Hwy 309, there were several others including Union Baptist, she just loved going to church. She loved her St. Thomas Church family and choir.she would often speak of singing again. Chistaunda was united in holy matrimony to Robert Lee Smith for over 40 years. She departed her earthly life on May 16, 2023 at Piedmont hospital of Atlanta, Georgia. She had the biggest heart, she never met a stranger, to know her was to truly love her, but it was never good to make her mad either! She was preceded in death by her daughter Lawana Demetris Smith, baby brother, Willie Billy Bryant, her father, Willie Bryant, Sr, Grandma, Sadie Smith, Sister, Tracey J, Bryant, Niece, Rotunda Crystal Scott, Mother, Maxine D. Bryant, Brother, Willie Earl Bryant, Andrew Bryant, her best friend, Takeishawn Christian, and her son, James C. Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a son, Omar Bryant of Bainbridge, Georgia, a daughter, Cartetter(Mekia)Robinson, of Tallahassee, Florida. Five children she helped raise: Denise Green, Essie Green, Both of Dawson, Georgia, Sammie(Demetris) Green of Cuthbert, Georgia, Jazzi’Maine(Shereka)Knight of Bainbridge, Georgia, Everett(Daniella)Handford of Macon, Georgia, 4 Sisters: Edith Dillard of Saginau, Michigan, Shirley Jones Bryant of Columbus, Georgia, Montra bryant of Bainbridge, Georgia, Tasha(Jessie)Jones, of Cairo, Georgia, 2 Brothers: Maurice(Annette)Bryant of Venice, Florida, Willie(Deborah)Bryant of Bainbridge, Georgia, 6 grandchildren: Precious Bryant, Omar K. bryant, both of Dawson, Georgia, Kentarkuis J. Morgan of Graceville, Florida, Michael J. Scott, Jr, of Liberty, Florida, Ashley N.(Roderick) Scott of Bainbridge, Georgia, 7 Greatgrandchildren: Zy’Onna C. Bryant, Haydence S. Bryant, Kehlani A. Davis, Kensleigh A. Davis, A’Nylah R. Vanover all of Dawson, Georgia, Ayden Scott, of Macon, Georgia, and a host nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and In-laws. Longtime friends: Eddie Johnson, Vera Feaster, Melisha Holton, Deborah Cannon, and Mrs. Louise.
