A TIME TO BE BORN: Charlie Mae Van was born May 14, 1946 in Moultrie, GA to the late Charlie Van and Tommie Lee Page.
A TIME TO LOVE: On November 1, 1969, she married Leroy Kendrick, Sr.
A TIME TO WORK: Charlie Mae was a hardworking woman. She worked at United Plastic, American Electric and Memorial Hospital. She retired in 2003.
A TIME TO WORSHIP: Charlie Mae gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She was a member and mother of the church at St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church.
A TIME TO DIE: She’s preceded in death by her mother, father, husband, sister, Geraldine Ladson; brother, Edison Jackson; daughter, Costella Boyd; daughter, Earnestine Kendrick and grandson, Antonio Hill.
A TIME TO MOURN: She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter, Barbara Ann Johnson; three sons: Leroy Kendrick, Jr., Willie Charles Kendrick (Earnestine) and Joe Kendrick (Latrice); two brothers; Leo Page (Sandra) and Booker Jackson (Stephanie); one sister, Vanessa. Two granddaughters and one grandson that she raised: Monica Nelson, Demetric Koonce-Elijah (Terrance) and Freddie Kendrick; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
