Bertha Lee Bailey

Bertha Lee Bailey was born to the late David Kelly and Lillie Mae Thompson Kelly on December 8, 1938 in Colquitt, Georgia. She departed her life at Southeast Health Medical Center on April 13, 2021 after becoming ill. She attended the Ephesus S.D.A Church in Bainbridge, Georgia. She met and married the late Austin Bailey and from this union, two children were born, Alice Bailey,who preceded her in death and Lillie Ann Bailey. Her memories will be cherished by her daughter, Lillie Ann Bailey (Elmer “Elmo” Lanier) of Pompano Beach, Florida; one grandchild, Michael Austin Sampson of Pompano Beach, Florida; her siblings, Ruby Alexander (Shelman) of Orlando, Florida; Archie Lee Kelly (Mamie) of Kissimmee, Florida; Eunice Thomas (Johnell) of Atlanta, Georgia; Henry L. Kelly, Annie Kate Kelly, and Catista Kimble all of Colquitt, Georgia; friend, Terry Bryant of Pompano Beach, Florida and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
