Lifes Journey of Artez M. Moore

Artez. M. Moore, a resident of Decatur County,was born February 22, 2001 to Mr. Terry Hughes and Miss Stacy Akins. Artez was preceded in death by his grandparents Mr. Nathaniel Davis, Mr. Robert Hughes, Mack and Betty Moore, and Mr Jennice C. Parker. On November 9, 2023 Artez took the lord's hand and went home.

Artez accepted Christ and joined Second Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church under Pastor Stevens.  He received his education in the Decatur County School System. He was very active with the football and the track team. He graduated from Bainbridge High School.

He leaves to cherish his memory and to mourn his passing, his father, Mr. Terry Hughes of Florida, and his mother Stacy Akins, and his stepfather, Joe E. Kinder, III, of Bainbridge, Georgia. A special friend, Valeshonyon Marissa Groomes, a daughter, Serenity Alayah-Janae Moore, his siblings: DeVonta Moore, Jai’Shyra Kinder, Terry Hood, Devin Hood, Keona Hughes, Tiasha Hughes, Terry Hughes, Jr, Terrica Hughes, Is Hughes, Tiera Hughes, Terriyanna Hughes, Saraphine Robinson, Riley Alls, Kendal Alls, Lori Kinder, Derrick Kinder, Undrayah Kinder, and Chasity Kinder. His loving grandparents, Cynthia Parker, Betty Hughes, and a bonus grandmother, Dorothy Kinder. A special aunt, Lucretia Akins, a special uncle, Mark Moore. Mentors: his cousin, Ty Akins, Assistant track coach from NC State, Reuben McCoy, Three godmothers: Shandora Hopkins, Mable Register and Teresa Porter. A large host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
