Annie Lee King, 91 years of age, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Miller County Hospital, after many years of sickness. Annie Lee was a native of Colquitt, Georgia. She was one of three siblings and the daughter of the late Reverend Emanuel Moss and Daisy Hughes. Annie Lee was a member of Branchville Missionary Baptist Church where she worked faithfully for many years as secretary and mother of the church. She worked a total of 50 years at Elberta Crate & Box, John B. Sanfilippo & Sons Peanut Company Warehouse and Decatur - Seminole Training Center, Bainbridge, Georgia. Annie was a loving and caring person that looked out for everyone, it did not matter what the situation was also she was a lover of fishing, a hobby she loved dearly. She leaves to cherish her memories; four daughters: Shirley Ann Bunion of Colquitt, Georgia; Nora Williams (Maurice) of Oakland, California; Charlie B. Backey of Colquitt, Georgia; Valorie Brabazon of North Dakota; three sons: Eugene King (Diane) of Colquitt, Georgia; John King (Patsy) of South Chesterfield, Virginia; Willie King of Colquitt, Georgia; one son preceded her in death, Steve King (Josephine) of Bainbridge, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
