Sister Amy Renea Harris was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on February 14, 1976 to Catherine A. Harris Slappey. She confessed Christ at an early age at St. Thomas Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted church member and active in the church music ministry. Amy was educated in the Decatur County Public School System. She was a member of the 1994 graduating class of Bainbridge High School. She later attended Bainbridge Community College. She was employed with Country Inn and Suites until her untimely demise. On September 6, 2019, Amy Harris was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Hubert Webb. Amy departed this walk of life on Saturday, January 23, 2021. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, niece, and cousin. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Deacon Johnnie C. Sr. & Deaconess Caprell Harris and her Uncle and Aunt, Deacon Johnnie C. Jr. & Deaconess Marilyn Harris. She leaves to cherish her precious memories; her husband: Hubert Webb; two loving children: Chanprell Harris (friend, Christopher Thompkins) and Danbrell Harris (friend, Jasmine Gardner); step-children: Danyelle Webb and Keith Webb; a loving mother: Catherine A. Harris Slappey; a devoted step-father: Bobby Pearson; grandchildren whom she loved dearly: Ayuni Harris, Caselyn Simmons, Serenity Simmons, and Jayden Harris; grandmother, Ola Mae Harris; Aunts and Uncles: Charles B. Harris, Glenda L. Clem (Lee), Tony L. Harris (Tammie), and Donald L. Harris; devoted great uncle and aunt: James and Vivian Smith; godmother, Mary Gray; special friends: Shelonda Wilson, Yolanda Richardson, Tony Cosby, and Annie Wilson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
