Albert Sterling McCoy, Sr.

​Albert Sterling McCoy, Sr., was born January 9, 1966 to the late Albert Tyler and Inez Byrd McCoy. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henderson Byrd, Sr., Bertha Mae Byrd, Elease Tyler, Harry Tyler and a brother, Mack Charles McCoy. Sterling joined Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church at an early age and then later moved his membership to Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He worked many jobs in Bainbridge, Georgia and Dothan, Alabama. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving son, Albert Sterling, McCoy, Sr., a loving sister, Bonita Mitchell (Gary) of Bainbridge, Georgia; brothers, Kenneth McCoy (Berth), Gregory McCoy (Wonda) all of Bainbridge, Georgia; Patrick Byrd (Sharon) of Conyers, Georgia; a devoted aunt and second mom, Lottie Byrd, six grandchildren, a special uncle, Henderson Byrd (Anita) of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
