Stuffon Durant Sanders was born on January 22, 1962 to R.L. Sanders and Yvonne Sanders, in Bainbridge, Georgia. He was raised in a loving Christian home with his mother, grandfather and grandmother.
A Time To Serve
At the age of thirteen, he received Christ and joined First African Baptist Church.
A Time To Grow
He attended West Bainbridge Elementary and Bainbridge High School. He worked several jobs at Elberta Crate & Box Company, FRM and The Fence Company here in Bainbridge, Georgia.
A Time To Live Life
Stuffon was very outgoing, talkative and loved life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and grilling. He was a wonderful people person and loved by many. The kids called him “Ray Ray”. He had a God calling talent for fishing.
A Time To Die
Stuffon entered into Eternal Rest on Saturday, January 11, 2020. He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Loretha King, his brother, Eric Sanders, his sister, Terrace Sanders and one uncle, Willard Screen.
A Time To Mourn
Stuffon leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved mother, Yvonne Sanders, of Bainbridge, Georgia; his daughter, Heather Cason of Fitzgerald, Georgia; three grandchildren, his sisters, Erica Sanders (Mitchell) of Bainbridge, Georgia; Terro Sanders-Pittman (Tim) of Rochester, New York; Jessie Scott (Chris) of Atlanta, Georgia; Michelle Sanders of St. Petersburg, Florida; his brothers: Darrien Sanders and Joe Smith both of Bainbridge, Georgia; Rodney Sanders of Orange, New Jersey; Ronald Sanders of Orlando, Florida; Dale Sanders of Orlando, Florida; Calvin Sanders of Orlando, Florida; special friends, Vance and Vera Custer and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted west side family.
