Michelle Lamanda Gray was born on March 28, 1977 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the parentage of Lilla Jo Gray and Phillip Mills. On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, in her native town of Donalsonville, Georgia the Lord called her home. Michelle, affectionately known as “Chelle” to her family and friends, was a beautiful, energetic, kind and loving young lady, who would always greet you warmly with a smile and a hug. At an early age, she joined Springhill Missionary Baptist Church in Iron City, Georgia under the leadership of Reverend V. Williams. Michelle attended the public schools of Seminole County Georgia and was a 1996 graduate. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years, exemplifying her love and compassion for people and enthusiasm for helping others; but her greatest love was for her three children, her twin brother, Michael and her parents. Michelle is preceded in death by her father, Phillip Mills, her maternal grandparents, Hettie Mae Williams and Rossi Gray, her paternal grandparents, Fannie Mae Harris and Mack Mills, three aunts, Louise Harris, Louzera Johnson, Martha R. Harris, three great aunts, R.D. Ward, Elaine Baker, Theresa Perry, three great uncles, Shelman Batts, Isaac Batts and Ned Batts, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Leroy Hamilton, her parents, Lilla Jo and Joe Nathan Jones, one daughter, Paris Hollis, two sons, Charcavious Hale and Justin Hamilton, two grandchildren, Akeem and Trinity, two brothers, Michael Gray and Joe Jones, Jr. (Patricia), five sisters, Gloria Reynolds (Mark), Katie Pickrwn (Carlos), Quinilla Jones, Hattie Moton (Stanley) and LaPorshia Jones, five aunts, Nettie Ellis, Hazel McCoy, Lucinda McCoy, Hattie Lee McCoy, and Linnie Bell McCoy, her mother-in-law, Earleen Hamilton, two sisters-in-law, Chrisandra Williams and Tynese Henry, two special cousins, who were more like sisters, Beverly Williams and Marsha Jones, five godsons, Allen Harris, Deontavious Hale, Fred Barber, Myron Perry and Patrick Johnson, niece, Myisha Gray, nephew, Tywann Gray along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
