James was born November 19, 1975 in Charleston, South Carolina to Andrea Griffin. His birth father was Mr. Michael Jones. He was adopted by Mr. James Edward Stewart II soon after birth was named after him. He raised and loved him as his son. James was educated in Newark, New Jersey, Chester PA and Tallahassee, Florida. As a child, James loved music and in his early teens began creating beats for a number of rappers and other artists. He worked with and educated many others in the art of creating beats during his adult life living in Newark, New Jersey. While presiding in Newark, James took the name Mr. Unknown although he was already known as T.J. to many who knew him from childhood. To many James was the friend they could count on. He was a brother and the man with a big heart. Work was no stranger to him. He loved working with people. James held positions fixing and building computers as well as a store management, landscaping and roofing. James was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, nephew and friend. He would feed you, clothed you and even shared his home with countless people. He will be remembered as the loving hard working person he was. He leaves behind his mother, Andrea Griffin Stewart, four sisters, Tikera Stewart, Christina Stewart, Aisha Hall, Tiffany Zachery, three brothers, Michael Stewart, Michael Jones, Jr., Willie Matthews, two daughters, Bayyiah Stewart and Makaylah Stewart, two step-daughters, Shakeerah Green and Tamia Baker, five sons, Shahead Stewart, Quincy Stewart, Bricen Stewart, Quadir Stewart and Nasir Stewart, grandmother, Lynnett Locket, great aunt, Ruby Thorton Brown, uncles, Matthew Oliver and Rex Griffin, aunts, Vevelyn Turner, Pamela Griffin, Warnetta Farley and a host of other relatives and friends.
