Geraldine Brown Toliver was born on September 27, 1962 in the State of Florida to the late Joe and Ethel Brown. She received her education in the Decatur County School System. Geraldine was the youngest of seven children. Geraldine lived a full and happy life surrounded by a multitude of family and friends. Geraldine better known as “Dine” and “Sis G” was a faithful and dedicated member of Cornerstone Pentecostal Church where she served as door greeter and could always be found praising God and faithful to prayer. One could always expect to see Sister G greeting with a contagious smile on her face. Geraldine was proud of her Apostolic Pentecostal experience that included being filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus name. Geraldine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to those in need. Dine’s heart was pure and was always willing to help someone in need. On Friday, September 27, 2019, Geraldine was released from this world’s earthly toils and joined the innumerable band of saints. Preceding her in death are her parents, Joe and Ethel Brown; three brothers, Bobby Brown, Charlie Brown, Johnny Brown; and one son, Anthony Garnett Murphy, Jr. Geraldine is survived by her husband, Paul Toliver of Bainbridge, Georgia; her children, Kelley Maurice Brown (Falola) of Bainbridge, Georgia; Tesha Lashay Wade (Tristan) of Bainbridge, Georgia; three sisters, Minnie Pearl Miller (Arthur) of Attapulgus, Georgia; Josephine Brown of Columbus, Georgia; Evelyn Brown of Quincy, Florida; five grandchildren, Erica Bailey (Alex), Keyondre Brown, Kamron Brown of Valdosta, Georgia; K’vion Brown and Kelli Brown of Bainbridge, Georgia; three great grandchildren, Alexis Bailey, Anaya Bailey and Alexander Bailey, Jr. all of Bainbridge, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
