The lovely, Betty Jo Moore, was born in Blakely, Georgia on October 31, 1951. She was the daughter of the late Clarence (CB) and Ella Fair Tolbert. Betty attended public school in Blakely, Ga. The family later relocated to Bainbridge, Ga. to make this their home where she finished at Hutto High School. Betty was married to the late Mack McCoy Moore and together they reared five children. They both were great parents to their children. They loved their children together wholeheartedly and only wanted the best for them. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to those in need. Betty’s heart was pure and always gave someone in need a place to stay or to get something to eat. She was a very good cook and everyone loved gathering at her home. Betty attended local churches in Bainbridge, Ga. and Blakely, Ga.. Betty enjoyed spending time with her children, family, cooking big dinners, and making people laugh. Betty was employed at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Ga. for thirteen years. She loved her job. On Sunday, August 11th, 2019, Betty was released from this world’s earthly toils and joined the innumerable band of saints to await the great reunion in the sky. Preceding her in death are her husband, Mack Moore, mother, Ella Fair Tolbert, father, Clarence (CB) Tolbert, sisters, Climmie and Sally Tolbert, and brother, Eddie C. Tolbert. Those left to rejoice in her legacy and cherish her memory are her children; Michael, Joseph (Elizabeth), Paul (Morgan), Joella (Keshonda), and Mark (Artavia) Moore; her sisters; Dorothy Franklin and Gail Tolbert (Curtis), and her brother; Willie James Williams (Grace); 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, other relatives and loving friends, and a host of nieces and nephews.
