Bettie has taken her journey in the beautiful ship of rest: “Far away from this world of sorrow to the home of eternal rest. God give us strength to bear it. Courage to fight the blow, because what it means to lose her, no one will ever know. Sister Bettie has a new address, Heaven Lane, where the streets are paved with Gold, she’s sitting at the welcome table feasting on milk and honey with our Heavenly Father! A loving and devoted caring person. Sister Bettie Jean Ceasor was born on October 31, 1956 in Whigham, Georgia to the late Charlie and Mary Johnson-Addison. On Tuesday, July 9, 2019 the Lord called her home in Whigham, Georgia. She received her formal education in the Grady County School System. After entering into adulthood, she worked at the Whigham Nursing Home, Roddenberry Pickle Plant and some seasonal farm work. Bettie later met and married Curtis Ceasor on July 21, 1993 where they remained together until her death. Bettie joined several churches throughout her lifetime. She later joined House Comfort and Refuge Ministers in Havana, Florida, under the leadership of Elder Lionel Leonard, where she served faithful until her health declined. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Curtis Ceasor, her sons, Kelvin Williams of Cairo, Georgia; Brad Williams (Kiwamie) of Louisiana; John Solomen Williams, Jr., of Cairo, Georgia; Council Odell Williams (Veronica) of Virginia; five adopted kids, Cassondra Jones, Quinteries Jones, William Jones, Anthony Jones all of Cairo, Georgia; Daeshonai Powell (Allen Jr.) of Atlanta, Georgia; four sisters, Virginia Huntley of Whigham, Georgia; Janice A. Washington of Cairo, Georgia; Catherine Smart of Thomasville, Georgia; Priscilla Addison of Whigham, Georgia; four brothers, Reverend Jimmy Addison (Erica) of Cairo, Georgia; Leroy Addison (Sabrina) of Tennessee; Jerome Addison (Kynitha) of Whigham, Georgia; Joe Nathan of Tallahassee, Florida; three sisters-in-law, Catherine Ceasor of Bainbridge, Georgia; Bettie Ceasor of Havana, Florida; Sarah Larkin (Johnny) of Havana, Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
